The fundamental client aspirations for this project were to increase the amount of living accommodation and kitchen space for a growing family. This has been done by introducing a large ground floor extension allowing plentiful room for a new open plan kitchen, dining and living space with generous views into the rear garden. Roof lights have also been incorporated to the rear to allow natural light to penetrate deeper into the living space.

A utility room and WC has also been introduced to the ground floor within the proposed side extension. This allows a clear separation between the primary and ancillary spaces. The side extension also incorporates two additional bedrooms at the first floor level doubling the number of bedrooms within the property.
