Guildhall House
Project Overview
Office to Multi-Residential Conversion
This project involved the change of use of an existing office building into 26no. residential apartments within a conservation area. The entire internal floorplate was reconfigured to suit the new building use with alterations made to the external facade.
Dialogue remained open with the client throughout the project from initial concept design through to construction. Discussions were had with the local Planning authority and Building Regulations department to deliver the best possible proposal within the constraints of the existing building.
Once drawings were approved a show-unit was fit out for potential buyers and marketing purposes. As lead architects on this proposal, our involvement was extensive and varied from delegating work to the project team to ensuring the clients needs were met throughout the project lifecycle.
